....physically old, anyway.

As of today, I am now 20 years old. No longer in my teenage years~ ...and my parents love to remind me about that fact.

But wow, 20 years old? I've always wondered what I would be like at this age! And now I know.....that I haven't changed as much. Sure, maybe I've gotten more experience, improved my skills and talents and whatnot, but I still have the tendency to act like a kid. (Particularly with a few online and offline buddies of mine. You know who you are~ ) Oh well. At least I know when it's appropriate to act like a kid or an adult- which I am now.

For the most part, though, I'm still the same K-chan~

For my video gaming needs, I FINALLY got my own copy of Mario Kart Wii, complete with the cute Wii Wheel. (YUS! ) The wheel makes the game easier to play, in my opinion.

For my Mac, I got 2 new programs- Manga Studio 3.0 (for making comics) and Anime Studio 5 (for making animations). This means you might see something pop up in my gallery that you've NEVER seen me create before. ...of course, that'll take a while. I have to install the dang programs.

For extra stuff, I got a new purse and a wallet...which is usually received every birthday or Christmas. I ALSO got this adorable little egg-shaped alarm clock which has 5 different features....one of them being able to tell you what time it is. And it wobbles. It has a name, too! Bob. (...seriously, that's its name!)

Other things I got that weren't photographed? The money I received for my birthday (who wants to see that? XD), aaaand my own digital camera- which was actually used to take the picture of my gifts. Haha!

Overall, my 20th birthday was fantastic~ What an awesome way to begin my summer vacation!

Next up: my friend Amanda's birthday! She'll be turning 20 too- next Sunday!

Took me long enough to realize it was April Fools Day. I was just minding my own business when I suddenly noticed that my icon changed. I was like- "Since...WHEN did I change my K-chan avatar to something like THIS?"

So I thought I'd go to my options page and change it. ....well, apparently, the option of changing the icons has been temporarily taken off.

Then I was like- What the heck?

That's when I noticed the date. <-- is slow today*

IT'S APRIL FOOLS DAY LOL. Nice job, dA. XD

Aaaaanyway- YAY! It's now officially April!

I'll be telling you all what happened with me at SakuraCon through deviations this year, so look out for updates sometime! 'Kay?

Holy crap. 7 days!! I'm so excited!!!! It'll be awesome spending 3 days around other otakus and just having fun over in downtown Seattle! This'll be my 3rd year at the con. WOOHOO! I've still got minor preparations to do and small details to complete with all 3 cosplays that I'm pulling off, but shouldn't be a problem finishing them! Wish me luck!

Cosplays to look out for:

Friday- Emi Toshiba from Dance Dance Revolution- 3rd mix outfit, I think. Yes. K-chan's playing a GIRL for once. XD

Saturday- Lavi from D. Gray Man- first uniform. Complete with anti-Akuma weapon. >:3

Sunday- Asato Tsuzuki from Yami no Matsuei. In his usual black work outfit, trenchcoat and magic fudas of doom.

I'll be in the cosplay contest, participating in some photoshoots, doing the Algorithm March, and meeting other buddies dressing up from the same series as I! I'll be veeery busy next weekend. X3

I've been having a rough week so far this month. My grandparents got seriously sick and my dad was in a car accident yesterday. Doing this was a nice break from all the stress~ And I'm beginning to slowly recover from all the chaos, thank goodness! I've been drawing and working on SakuraCon stuff to help keep me going.

Speaking of drawings, when was the last time I updated? I really should start submitting again. There's over 10 pics in my folder ready to be viewed, for cryin' out loud!

It's funny how I update my journal only once a month. A few years back, I was updating practically 3 times a week! Wow. Times are changing.

Aaaaaanyway, here's what's going on with me (if anyone's still interested):

I'm now taking classes for Winter Quarter up at my college, and boy...I chose a lot of hard classes. Digital Studio, Interpersonal Communications (which is an extremely descriptive name for a speech class XD), Contemporary Health and Self-Defense. My plate's obviously full. For 2 of these classes, I have to write papers and work on projects, I have to learn techniques for defending myself in self-defense class (duh), and for my Digital Studio class...I GET TO COMPOSE MUSIC FOR CREDITS. (It's friggin' COOL!!)

It'a all hard work to keep up with....but I'm doing what I can to survive them all! (Thank goodness some of them are online courses... ) Unfortunately, that interferes with me updating my gallery. But that's to be expected! But I am totally sketching out new goodies when I get the chance to. You'll see them eventually.

*SIGH*

In other news, it's been snowing like crazy over here!! *pause* Well, in the mountains, anyway. Where I am, we're just getting rain. And it's also very cold. Typical Washington state weather! XD ...it DID snow in my area earlier this week, but the snow didn't last for more than 2 days. The rain made it all melt away. I figured that would happen, so my friends and I took advantage of the one day the snow was still pure and powdery, and we not only played in it-- we also took cosplay pictures.
