Haha....wow. Last time I updated anything here was back in April!
I've been slacking on posting up new artwork, I know.
But I HAVE still been constantly logging on, faving pics and commenting. So I've been around. There's just no way I can stay away from dA for too long!
Besides, I want to make sure my inbox doesn't get too full overtime. I would hate to get lost in too many unread journals and comments. Ahaha!
SO! I'm officially done with final exams and am starting the first week of summer vacation over here! And what a coincidence~ Today IS the first day of summer!
But right now the weather is all cloudy and there's a good chance of rain later on. (Typical Washington weather, lol.)
And it's kind of hilarious to me, because we just got through about 28 (29, maybe?) straight days of sunny, summer-like weather. What timing.
The past week has been a pretty emotional rollercoaster, too.
My dad is over in San Diego with his family because my grandpa lost his fight with cancer and died on the 16th.
Getting the news was sad. I seldom knew either of my dad's parents. I remember meeting them when I was 5 or 7, and my grandpa was really sweet. That's all I can work off of when thinking about him. We haven't remained in contact since then. Still....losing anyone in my family is still a very hard thing to deal with, and I hope my folks in San Diego will be okay soon. Their Fathers Day is a sad one this year.
Rest in peace, Grandpa. We love you.

......on a slightly more positive note-- you know what just occurred to me?
I'm turning 21 in a couple of days. OH EM GEE.
I am
this close to drinking legally.
THIS CLOSE!! 
Probably won't have alcohol on my birthday, though.
...maybe another day. *thinks* Oh, we'll see. Haha! XD
But ANYWAY!
Will there be actual updates soon? Yes. Seriously. Do I have finished works ready to submit? Yes. I have the last 2 themes for that long 150 theme art challenge complete, I have 2 photo collages of my SakuraCon 2009 adventure ready, and I'm nearly finished with some requests asked of me a long time go.
There's a few other things I'm sure I forgot to mention, but I'm starting to get tired of typing.
Trust me, though- you'll see something new pop up in your inboxes soon enough. :3
